Wowzers! I am so blown away that we made it to the General- Thank you all!

Many of you who backed ToD the first, and who already have castings of Death, have asked if you can swap out the General for your 4 horsemen. Well, the answer now is yes!  If I can, I'll make it an option in the survey, if not I'll have you message me so we can sort it out.

NEW Stretch Goal!

I have a few drawings that started all of this. one of them is this putti drawing, that I first did while studying as an art student was abroad in Rome, 1988.  on the left is the putti, on the right, my "take" on it. I think it would be a fitting cap to this Kickstarter. It's amazing how deep my love for this style goes- so thank you again for helping to realize it.

Cheers!

Last 48 hours- and a possible power shortage

Ahoy Everyone!

We are into the home stretch and things have really been heating up! So exciting that we might be able to get that General to everyone.

In other news I live in the California Bay area, and much of our area, indeed lots of Norther California on the coast is under a power outage warning due to high fire risk. Our power company is cutting power across cites and counties.  This means that if you send me a message or feedback or a question, I may not be able to get to it as quickly as I would like.  It may mean nothing, but did want to give everyone a heads up.

And because I hate talk with no pictures, here's a shot of ToD halberds and darts from the "classic" range, based for Kings of War

Cheers!

General Concept WIP

Ahoy Backers!

With all the greens and unlocks I forgot to show you the general WIP. Not done yet, but you get the idea of what I'm aiming for. This drawing also gives you a good look into the process of a piece- aka all the erased lines, when I'm looking for the right balance of a leg, or size of a helmet, or position of an arm. That all sounds a bit mad, but it actually is fun- and you "feel" it's right in the same why that when you whistle and you get that right note.

General WIP

Also, today is the start of Inktober- a celebration of ink drawings, where folks all across the globe join in to make ink drawings. There is a "prompt" of themes for the days of the month that you can use as a guide. It's wonderful to see all the interpretations and styles that come out of this.  I am giving myself no more than one hour per piece, this year and hope to make it all the way through. Last year I made it to day 17. Day 1: Ring

General Concept Art and more Greens done!~

Ahoy Backers!

I've finished up the General concept art and handed it off to my sculptor Drew. The General will be open handed, and comes with a lance and a mace option.  This piece is based off of a Burgundian knight art, from the early 1500's. I think he looks jaunty!

Drew has also finished up some of the Stretch Goals Sculpts so I can get these out to my castor next week for master molding and "proof" casts.

Damn sexy stuff!

We have 6 days left before the Kickstarter ends. I am working on a cunning plan for another Stretch Goal before then, so stay tuned! It's been a very exciting Event so far.

Cheers, and thanks
